Originally from St. Marys Ontario, Jane moved to the Greater Toronto Area to work in consumer product marketing after earning an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
While raising two exceptional children, Jane and her husband discovered a passion for adventure travel. Their family has explored extensively throughout Canada and New Zealand. All certified scuba divers, they also enjoy blackwater rafting, sea kayaking, skiing, hiking and off-road cycling.
Dabbling in various part-time capacities as her family has grown up, Jane has volunteered as a School Council Chair, launched an Arts Program and also marked assignments for an MBA Finance course with the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Jane's freelance writing has included travel and humour articles in The Globe and Mail and More magazine. She is a past editor and contributing writer for the Newsmagazine for the Association for Bright Children of Ontario.
She has studied creative non-fiction and new media at Ryerson University. When she is not writing, Jane can be found running or taking pictures outside in the fresh air.
